Alien Magic By StormyNite July 2000 I suppose I should start at the beginning as I find this hard to believe even now. He is so beautiful lying there sleeping. If only I could open the shades and let him enjoy the sunlight dancing upon his skin, but alas, we shall have to settle for the night together. It all started 3 days ago, so let me take you back to where it began and you can decide for yourself if there is magic involved or not. Day 1 It was a usual day for me. I arose early well before the sun had set and managed to whisk through breakfast, a shower, along with paying a few bills. I remember sitting at my kitchen table making a wish my life would change somehow. It had been filled with so much trauma as of late and I was beginning to give up hope. The words he whispered in my ear on Valentine's Day were the only thing that kept me going. Of course I remembered everything that happened that night, but in my heart I believed he spoke the truth after LaCroix disappeared. At least that is what has kept me going for so long, but I digress. I drove through the parking lot and found someone parked in my spot once more, but I refused to get angry this time. I simply was not going to give into the anger and waste my energy, so I drove around the block and found a parking spot less than a half block away. Just as well, I loved the view from the front of the building anyway. As I stood at the base of the steps and admired the small tree, I heard a small cry. Startled, I turned to check behind me. Finding no one behind me, I wrote it off to my imagination and started up the steps. For some reason, I looked down and saw something in a white piece of cloth. I reached down and found a child's toy wrapped in a washrag. A smile crossed my lips as I noticed it was an alien in a rubber coating of some sort. Under closer inspection, I noticed a Band-Aid over the lower part of the base and realized my little friend had sprung a leak. I pulled on the Band-Aid. What fluid left in the rubber capsule spurted into the air with gusto, then I swear I heard a deep sigh. Surprised, I dropped him on the ground as the last of the fluid spread quickly into the washrag. It was then I recognized the smell of the medium as wine. I burst out laughing and picked him up. "Well, my little friend. I don't know who you belonged to, but obviously they had fun." I wrapped him up and headed inside. When I got indoors under the bright lights, I noticed that not only was he an alien rescued by wine, but the rubber coating surrounding him must have once been a condom. I just couldn't help myself, but I felt the strong urge to smooth it out over him. When I finished, I could have sworn there was a smile on his face and the words "Alien Magic," popped into my mind. Once again I looked him over closely and aside from the now smooth condom over his pale white skin, he looked unchanged. It was odd, but my mind just began to fantasize putting that condom somewhere else, but I have simple tastes and should keep my wishes simple, so maybe just a sign of his affection would be magic enough. The rest of the night was uneventful. I decided to take my little friend home and make him more comfortable. After a quick trip home and popping a 2-minute gourmet in the microwave, I settled down for a couple of hours of TV and once again my mind drifted to Nick. The doorbell rang. I did a quick check of the clock on the wall. Not many people had the nerve to ring a person's doorbell at this hour. "It's me, Nat." Nick's voice was low when I reached the door. Glancing at my appearance, I groaned...exercise pants and a long fleece sweatshirt. How attractive...NOT! So I pulled the band from my hair and ran my fingers through it to remove the knots. At least my hair wouldn't be the same old 'under the scrubcap look'. I moistened my lips and opened the door. "I thought I'd drop by and bring you some Chinese." He held up the boxes and the odor wafted into my apartment. "How sweet, Nick." I smiled and let him step in. "Let me get some plates. What's the occasion?" "Oh, I just hadn't seen you in a couple of days with our schedules being different and I wanted to say hi." Those baby blue eyes would have melted my socks if I'd been wearing any. "You joining me?" He did a quick inspection of his shoes and looked sheepish. I couldn't help myself and laughed. "You know you look every bit of 10 when you do that." I headed for the kitchen and pulled out a bag of plasma I kept there for emergencies. When I returned, he was sitting on the couch dishing up the fried rice. I handed him the mug full of plasma. If he could have blushed...he would have. "It's okay, Nick. Keeping you off the blood hasn't helped except to make you cranky, so drink up. So you don't like Chinese, I'm not crazy about anchovies either. You just have a different food choice than mine." He placed his hand over mine and I felt the same warmth I had that night on Valentine's Day. I know my heart skipped a beat, but it felt good and I wanted more. The next thing I knew, he held my face in his hands and I was lost in those pools of blue that hid so many secrets. His thumbs rubbed my cheek tenderly and I could think of nothing else, but kissing those desirable lips so close to mine. I was putty in his hands. Throw me down and drain me...I wouldn't have cared just as long as he kissed me. "I have no idea what I did to deserve you. You make me feel things I thought long dead and I want more." Gently he touched his lips to mine and I was lost to the sensation. He sucked my lower lips into his mouth and my body responded everywhere. I moaned in spite of my efforts, but for some reason it didn't matter anymore. When his tongue caressed the inside of my mouth, I wanted nothing more than to run my hands inside that blue silk shirt and feel every inch of him. Instead I wrapped my arms around his neck and deepened the kiss. This time he moaned and I felt his heart beat once underneath my breast pressed close to his. He did care for me! My hands wandered over his chest as both our breathing increased until finally his fangs dropped and he pushed me away. I felt the loss immediately and grieved. "I'm so sorry, Nat. I didn't mean for that to..." I silenced him with my fingertips and smiled. "One step at a time, Nick." He kissed my fingertips and reached for his mug. The rest of the night we sat arm and arm and watched the fire without a word. They just weren't necessary. Day 2 I noticed him lying on the edge of the tub where I'd left him the night before. I couldn't help but smile. The rubber condom had shriveled again. I smoothed it out once more and another low moan echoed through the room. "You know I think you are talking to me. Maybe I should find a way to fix you up, but for now you are just going to have to wait until I go to the drug store. Sad though it may seem, I don't keep condoms in my bathroom. I'll get you a new one tonight. Until then, you'll just have to settle for having your rubber smoothed out again." I rubbed him gently until all the wrinkles were gone, then covered him once more with his little white rag. As I shut the door, the words popped into my mind once more. "Alien Magic!" The drive to work seemed so much different than the night before. Tonight, I was at peace with myself. Nick really cared for me...and last night...he kissed me. The smile on my face must have made me glow as Grace made a snide comment and ask what I'd been up too. "I know what I'd like to have up," I said with a chuckle before we set to work. Later that night, Nick called and made me promise to come by for popcorn and a movie. My choice... let's sees...romance or sleaze. A wicked smile crossed my lips I know because Grace began to laugh hysterically from across the room. "I know where your mind is, girl." She gave me a knowing sisterly smile. "Well, a girl's just gotta have fun...sometime!" I smiled and headed for the door. ------------- As I rode up the elevator, I have to admit my mind was reliving the night before. Maybe tonight we could advance this relationship. Maybe tonight I could get him to at least tell me what was in that heart he claims not to have. The lift stopped and I opened the door. The sweet smell of fresh baked cookies floated on the air. "Chocolate Chip?" I asked and headed straight for the tempting morsels on the counter. "Ah!" He smacked my wrist playfully. "None of that without this." He handed me a cold glass of milk. What a surprise! I popped the cookie into my mouth in delight and moaned in pleasure. "These are delicious, Nick. You've been holding out on me." Was this possible...good looking, sweet and could cook? "If I didn't love you before, I love you now." The words just slipped out before I could stop them. What an idiot! I almost choked, then I took a sudden interest in my feet. He was suddenly beside me forcing me to look at him. "I love you too, Nat." He said so softly I thought I'd heard wrong, but the look in his eyes told me I wasn't mistaken. He rubbed the crumbs off my lips and smiled, but didn't let go. "Spend the day with me, Nat. Let me hold you. Let me wake up with you in my arms, the way I have dreamed so many times." He was so beautiful. How could he think I wouldn't accept, but I saw the hesitation in his eyes? I let my finger trace his soft lips, then placed my lips over his. He opened and kissed me with such passion I was certain my legs were made of Jell-O. "I thought you'd never ask." Before I knew what had happened, we were upstairs. Those black silk sheets were under me as he wrapped me in his strong arms and lay down beside me. I have never felt so treasured in all my life. Snuggling deeper into his embrace, I felt home for the first time in my life. When I sighed, the warmth and love I'd felt earlier from him returned. I would stay here forever if he only asked. "Are you comfortable?" He whispered in my ear. I snuggled deeper and sighed with pleasure. "Only one thing would make it better." "Oh?" "You silk pajamas against my skin." It had slipped out before I realized it. He chuckled and pulled me closer. "Maybe tomorrow...One step at a time you said...One step at a time." He kissed my neck and I was totally unafraid. If it were possible, I loved him more. Maybe some dreams can come true. Before I'd realized it, I'd drifted off to sleep. Day 3 Nick had just placed his coat on the back of his chair when the phone rang. It had been a long night and he missed Nat. He glanced at his watch before he picked up the phone. Only 3 more hours and they'd be together. He smiled as he answered the phone. When had this happened? "Knight!" "Nick, you had better get over here. I don't know what to do with her. She has lost it and she's...well...just get here!" Grace hung up the phone and rushed back to Nat. Nick flew to the morgue and Grace split quickly. He pushed open the door to see his beloved Natalie blowing hard into a condom. "Nat, what are you doing?" He turned her around to face him and the condom flew into his chest spreading green slime all over his white silk shirt. "Oh, Damn!" Natalie grumbled as she smeared the stuff on his shirt and looked at him through blurry eyes, then giggled. The alcohol on her breath was so strong you could smell it from the door. "What are you doing? You are suppose to be off." He turned the bottle of wine around to read the label. "Oh, well...it wa...wasn't working anyway." She hiccuped in spite of her efforts as Nick doubled in front of her eyes. "Well...ba...ba...back to the original idea and here I thought hot air was good for something." She grabbed the wine bottle, took a big swig, then started pouring some into another condom she'd attached to the edge of the table. "Nat!" She stumbled and he caught her. Giggling..."Well...now I can't even stand up." She turned tear filled eyes to his pathetically. "You got to help me, Nick. My alien won't stand up. He can't perform the magic if it can't stand up." I began giggling again. I reached for my little white friend and tried to shove him into the wine-filled condom one more time. Where had this plan gone wrong? It had to work. Maybe I shouldn't have been sampling the wine. "Nat, you're...you're...drunk." He snatched my little friend from me and I noticed the smile on both their faces. "It's a toy alien, Nat. Come on, let me take you home." "No! You don't understand. I used my hand to make him happy, but the...(hiccup)...condom couldn't stand the pressure. I rubbed to hard." She starred at him with tears in her eye and began to sway. Quickly he steadied her. "Please, Nick. I've got to make my alien stand up for the magic to work...our magic. Let me show you...." My hand was on his crotch and I couldn't stop myself. I just wanted him so badly. Oddly enough he didn't pull away, but pushed into the palm of my hand and I felt him grow significantly underneath my touch. Pulling me into his arms he kissed me hard, then someone groaned. I think it was me. "You think that little toy is what makes me want you, Nat? If having me overhear Miller talk about what he wanted to do with you and realizing I wanted it more is magic, then I'll give your little friend a hand job with no questions asked." He ground his pelvis into mine and kissed me so hard I couldn't breath. "I want you Natalie Lambert. I don't want to spend another day without waking up with you in my arms and I only want your hands on one thing." He placed my hand over his hard erection. So if that's magic, I want more." "Take me home, Nick, and let me show you what other talents I have." My voice sounded strange even to me, then I heard a loud sigh. We both turned to see my little friend smiling and standing erect in his new wine-filled condom. I reached to remove him from the side of the table and the condom burst open and wine poured freely onto the floor. I grabbed a rag from the table. Nick grabbed me to keep me from losing my balance and we both ended up in a pile on the floor, soaked in wine. I began to laugh and he joined in. "Look at us." He pulled me into his arms and kissed me soundly. "Well, your alien may have stood up...but we didn't. Want to try again?" He offered me his hand and we rose not so gracefully from the floor. When I turned to pick up my injured friend, he was gone. "I guess he couldn't stand the competition." Nick pulled me into his arms and kissed me gently. "What is between us doesn't need alien magic..." He rubbed his body hard against mine. "...just us...and a little time. I will love you forever, Natalie, if you'll have me." He stared into my eyes hopefully and I was his as I have always been. -------------- So you decide for yourself if there was magic involved, but I for one believe. For Nick is by my side and my little friend has gone back into the night. Just remember the next time you find something strange in the bushes that it may be my little friend in disguise...and who is to say when the alien magic will arise.
